Margaret
MargaretVeterinary Technician
My name is Margaret and I am a Veterinary Technician here at Downtown Animal Care Center. As an undergraduate at the University of Colorado Boulder, I studied both biology and chemistry. I love my job because it allows me to apply the knowledge I’ve obtained through formal education to help animals in need. Before arriving at DACC, I’ve worked at a number of animal hospitals and non-profit rescue organizations. Currently, I am studying for the GRE, and planning on applying to Veterinary schools in August to pursue my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Outside of work and school, I enjoy skiing, dancing, hiking, and spending time with my rescue cat Bugs that I adopted from Maxfund Animal Adoption Center.

Farida

Farida was born in Florida and raised in Colorado. She is currently a full time student studying to become a veterinarian. She was originally studying engineering but came to the conclusion that the future pay was not worth the eternal boredom one would have to endure. Farida currently has two fur babies with a third one coming in soon. Her fur babies consist of a cattle dog mix, a boxer mix, and soon a doberman. She might have a slight problem – she can’t seem to resist adopting animals, which is why she’s a great fit for the team at DACC!
